Hello! I’m Taka Latchman, a proud Guyanese welder residing in the heart of Anna Regina, Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this vibrant land of diverse cultures, where the rhythm of the Essequibo River echoes in our daily lives. In my community, the aroma of pepperpot and the sweetness of metemgee fill the air, connecting us back to our rich heritage. I cherish the weekends spent fishing along the Pomeroon River, sharing laughter and memories with family and friends. The lush greenery and stunning landscapes remind me of why I love this place so dearly, and I often find myself reflecting on how fortunate we are to call Guyana home.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
