Greetings from the Essequibo Coast! My name is Roshminie Lall, and I proudly call Taymouth in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. As a dedicated housewife, I cherish the vibrant culture of our beautiful country. From the rich flavors of curry and roti that fill our kitchens to the lively sounds of chutney music that bring our communities together, my life is deeply intertwined with the traditions and stories of Guyana. Living along the Essequibo River, I am constantly reminded of the breathtaking landscapes that define our nation. Guyana, the only English-speaking country in South America, offers a unique blend of cultures, and I take pride in sharing our stories with friends and family, both here and in the diaspora. Our people may face challenges, but the strength of our community shines through, especially with the support of our loved ones abroad.
