Greetings from the heart of Guyana! My name is Roveena Fredericks, and I proudly call the River Yarashirima Settlement in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region my home. Here, life flows as smoothly as the rivers that weave through our lush landscapes. With a rich blend of cultures, we celebrate our heritage through vibrant festivals, delicious local dishes like pepperpot, and the warmth of our close-knit community. It's not uncommon to see friends and neighbours gathering for a good meal or a game of dominoes, sharing stories and laughter that echo through our beautiful surroundings.
I have a deep appreciation for the unique vibrancy of Guyana, where every day feels like a new adventure.
