Hello! I’m Rowena Gordon, a proud resident of Bank Essequibo in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Nestled in the heart of Guyana, this area is known for its lush landscapes and vibrant communities. Growing up near the Lower Pomeroon River, I have always been inspired by the rich cultural heritage that surrounds me—from the sounds of the local markets to the delicious aromas of traditional dishes like cook-up rice and pepperpot simmering on the stove.
As a passionate advocate for our community, I believe in celebrating Guyana’s diversity and ensuring that our wealth and resources circulate for the benefit of all.
