Hello! My name is Rushell Mantoos, and I proudly call the Pomeroon River Friendship Backlands home. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana has deeply influenced who I am today. From the rich sounds of the local markets to the aroma of a well-cooked pepperpot, my roots are embedded in the diverse traditions and flavors that define our beautiful country.
In my community, we cherish our connection to the land and the stories that come with it.
