Hello! Iām Deamyon Boyan, a farmer based in the lush Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, specifically in the vibrant Pom River Friendship Backlands. My life revolves around the rich, fertile lands that our ancestors cultivated for generations. Here, I grow a variety of crops, contributing to the local food supply and embracing the beauty of our natural environment.
Guyana is a melting pot of cultures, and I take pride in our diverse heritage. From the delicious pepperpot and roti shared at family gatherings to the lively sounds of the tassa drums during celebrations, these experiences connect me deeply to my roots. I often reminisce about the POM RIVER and its surroundings, which hold many cherished memories of my youth and the stories passed down through generations.
