Greetings! I am Sadiq Aseef Ahmad, a dedicated teacher rooted in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up near the lush banks of the Pomeroon River, I have always cherished the rich cultural heritage that our land provides, from the delicious flavors of pepperpot and roti to the festive sounds of the tassa drum during Mashramani celebrations. My love for the land and its people fuels my passion for education, as I strive to inspire the next generation to embrace our unique identity while reaching for the stars.
With a deep appreciation for our Guyanese roots, I often engage with the diaspora community scattered across the globe, especially in places like Lower Pom River, New York. It’s heartening to connect with fellow Guyanese who share stories and experiences that reflect both the challenges and the beauty of our homeland.
