Hello! My name is Sahadeo Sooknanan, and I proudly call Black Water Trench in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. As a dedicated farmer, I cultivate a variety of crops that reflect our rich agricultural heritage. The lush landscapes of Guyana, combined with the gentle flow of our rivers, inspire my daily work and connect me deeply to the land that has nurtured generations of Guyanese families.
I cherish the vibrant culture of Guyana, from the mouthwatering duck curry that has everyone raving to the lively gatherings that celebrate our diverse traditions. As I strive to share my produce within our community, I am also keen to highlight our beautiful landmarks, such as the Essequibo River and its many hidden treasures.
