Hello! My name is Said Ragubeer, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast, specifically La Belle Alliance Lima, my home. As a farmer deeply rooted in the rich, fertile soil of Guyana, I cultivate a variety of crops that reflect our bountiful land and vibrant culture. From the moment the sun rises over the Pomeroon River, I find joy in nurturing the land, which is not just my livelihood but a way to honor the traditions passed down through generations.
In addition to farming, I cherish the flavors of Guyanese cuisine. Whether it's the sweet aroma of freshly cooked pepperpot or the delightful taste of a well-prepared cook-up rice, I believe that food is a universal language that connects us all, especially with our diaspora community. I often reminisce about the taste of fresh fruits from the local markets and the warm hospitality that makes Guyana truly special.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I am passionate about sharing our culture, history, and stories with others.
