Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and rich culture of Pomeroon has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our traditions, from the flavorful dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice to the lively celebrations during Mashramani. Whether it's enjoying a leisurely day at the Pomeroon River or soaking up the festive atmosphere at local events, every experience has shaped my love for our unique heritage.
As a resident of Pomeroon, I cherish the connections I've formed with fellow Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
