Hello! I’m Salim Rodrigues, a proud son of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, currently residing in the picturesque Canal Lower Pom River back canal of Hackney. As a sailor, I navigate the beautiful waterways that weave through our lush landscapes, often finding inspiration in the serene beauty of the Essequibo River. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve developed a profound appreciation for our rich cultural heritage, from our diverse communities to the tantalizing flavors of our local cuisine, especially a good duck curry that reminds me of home.
