Growing up surrounded by the vibrant culture and natural beauty of the Essequibo River has profoundly shaped my identity. From the rich flavors of our local cuisine, including beloved dishes like duck curry and pepperpot, to the warm hospitality that Guyanese people are known for, I cherish every aspect of my heritage.
