Greetings! I’m Sasha Chattergoon, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Here, amidst the lush greenery and the gentle flow of the Pomeroon River, I cherish the warmth of our vibrant culture and the deep-rooted connections we share as Guyanese. Growing up near River Grant Lillydale, I’ve been fortunate to immerse myself in the rich traditions of our land, from the tantalizing flavors of our cuisine—like pepperpot and metemgee—to the lively rhythms of our local music.
