Greetings! I am Savita Preetam, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically from Golden Fleece Estate in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up in Guyana, I have been deeply influenced by our rich cultural heritage, from the vibrant markets filled with fresh produce and spices to the soothing sounds of the Pomeroon River. Whether it’s enjoying a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or gathering with family for a Sunday cook-up of fish and provisions, I cherish the flavors that bring us together.
