Hello! My name is Seebaran Lall, and I’m proud to call the Essequibo Coast my home. As an Excavator Operator, I’ve had the privilege of working on various projects that help shape our beautiful landscape. Whether it’s the lush greenery of the Pomeroon River or the vibrant communities along the coast, I find inspiration in the daily hustle and the resilience of my fellow Guyanese. You can often find me enjoying a plate of pepperpot or a good curry, always reminding me of our rich culinary heritage.
Having roots that trace back to the Indian indentured laborers brought here in the 19th century, I cherish the blend of cultures that make Guyana unique. It’s a place where the rhythms of chutney music fill the air, and the aroma of fresh cook-up rice invites everyone to come together. My experiences reflect the stories of migration and community that resonate with many in the diaspora. I understand the feelings of those who have ventured abroad, but for me, home will always be where my heart beats strongest.
