Growing up near the serene Essequibo River, I cherish the natural beauty that surrounds us and the warmth of our community. As a resident of this beautiful country, I have witnessed the transformation of Guyana firsthand. I often reflect on the words of our influential leaders, like Cheddi Jagan and his wife Janet, who paved the path for many of us.
