Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and winding rivers, like the mighty Pomeroon and Wakapau, I developed a deep appreciation for the beauty and resilience of our homeland. As a tradesman, I find joy in creating and crafting with my hands, whether it's building something practical or innovating a design that reflects our unique Guyanese flair. When I’m not working, you can find me enjoying a delicious plate of pepperpot, or indulging in some fresh pineapples seasoned just right with salt, pepper, and vinegar – a local twist that never gets old! My heart swells with pride at our rich traditions, from the annual Mashramani celebrations to the soulful rhythms of our music that echo through the streets.
In today’s globalized world, I remain connected to my fellow Guyanese in the diaspora. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
