Greetings! I am Sewnauth Boodram, a proud farmer residing on the lush Coast 08, just east of the Public Road in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. This vibrant area is steeped in rich agricultural history, and as a farmer, I am dedicated to cultivating the land that nourishes our community. From cassava to rice, our produce not only feeds families locally but also contributes to the Guyanese heritage of sharing our bounty through markets and festivals.
Growing up surrounded by the beauty of the Pomeroon River, I have always been inspired by our natural landscape. Many evenings are spent by the river, engaging with the rhythms of life that define our culture—from fishing to enjoying a delicious plate of cook-up rice with friends and family. It's these simple yet profound experiences that shape my identity as a Guyanese, and I carry them with me wherever I go, including the diaspora communities that keep our spirit alive abroad.
