Nestled along the lush banks of the Pomeroon River, my hometown is a place where the warmth of community and rich cultural heritage thrive. Growing up amidst the tropical beauty, I cherish the flavors of our local cuisine—from the spicy pepperpot to the sweet, comforting cassava pone—each dish telling a story of our diverse roots.
