Growing up here, I have always been surrounded by the rich heritage of Guyana, where the sweet aroma of our renowned Chinese food fills the air, and the sounds of laughter echo through the streets as families gather to celebrate life. As a resident of Parika, I often find myself reminiscing about the local markets and the joy of sharing a plate of pepperpot with loved ones during special occasions.
Living in Essequibo has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our natural beauty.
