Living here, I’m surrounded by the rich biodiversity of our lush landscapes, from the serene banks of the Essequibo River to the vibrant markets filled with the aromas of our beloved local dishes, such as pepperpot and metemgee. My heart swells with pride when I think of our diverse cultural heritage, celebrated through festivals like Mashramani, where the energy of the people and the rhythm of our music truly come alive.
