Greetings! I’m Sharan Narain, a proud farmer from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically at 84 Public Road Jib in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. My roots run deep in the rich soil of Guyana, where I cultivate not only crops but also a sense of community. As a farmer, I am dedicated to bringing the freshest produce to our local markets, from cassava and plantains to the vibrant spices that flavor our traditional dishes like pepperpot and metemgee.
Growing up amidst the lush landscapes of our country, I have always been enamored by the stunning natural beauty that surrounds us, from the majestic Pomeroon River to the vibrant flora and fauna unique to our land. I often reflect on comments from my fellow Guyanese, whether it's the pride in our beautiful women or the excitement surrounding the potential economic growth with the recent oil discoveries.
