Greetings! I’m Shawn Hinds, an operator based in the vibrant Pomeroon region of Guyana. Nestled in the Pomeroon-Supenaam area, my roots run deep in this lush landscape where the rivers tell stories, and the community is tightly knit. Growing up here, I learned to appreciate the rich cultural heritage that defines our way of life, from the delicious curry duck enjoyed with dhalpourie to the joyous gatherings that fill the air with laughter and music.
As someone who cherishes the flavors of home, I believe that food is more than just nourishment; it's a celebration of our identity. Whether it's savoring the perfect beef stew or sharing a meal of fresh fish caught from the Pomeroon River, every dish carries a piece of our history. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
