Hello! I’m Shazim Azeze, a proud resident of Bank Essequibo along the serene 6 Railway Embankment in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. My roots run deep in this vibrant community, where the lush landscapes and the mighty Pomeroon River shape our daily lives. Growing up here, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our local culture—especially the delicious dishes like pepperpot and metemgee, which bring families together during festive occasions.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain with our homeland while living abroad.
