Hello and welcome! My name is Sheldon Fredericks, and I proudly call Essequibo Maraka Tapakuma in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region my home. As a dedicated labourer, I spend my days contributing to the vibrant community around me. Guyana, often referred to as the heart of the mainland Caribbean, is a place where rich history and diverse cultures blend seamlessly. From the mouthwatering flavors of our beloved pepperpot to the stunning views of the Essequibo River, there’s so much to cherish about our beautiful country.
Growing up here, I’ve been fortunate to experience the warmth of our tight-knit communities. There's a saying in Guyana: "Welcome to my country!!!🇬🇾", and it truly reflects the hospitality we extend to all who visit. Our rich cultural ties to the Caribbean, along with our unique traditions, make Guyana a remarkable place to live and work.
