Greetings! I’m Shemeer Singh, a proud farmer hailing from the lush Essequibo Coast in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the mighty Pomeroon River flows and connects us to our rich heritage. Growing up surrounded by the colorful culture of Guyana, I’ve come to appreciate the unique blend of traditions that make our country special. From the lively sounds of calypso and chutney music echoing through the streets to the delicious dishes like pepperpot and roti that grace our tables, every moment is a celebration of our diverse background. Though some may debate our geographical identity, I firmly believe that our spirit ties us closely to the Caribbean, evident in the warmth of our people and our shared love for storytelling.
