Hello! I'm Sherlyn Richmond-Abra, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant rivers of Guyana, I have a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. From the lively sounds of the 'Wakapai' folk music echoing through our villages to the inviting aroma of curry and roti wafting through the air, every aspect of our culture is dear to me. I often reminisce about family gatherings over pepperpot and metemgee, where stories and laughter flow as freely as our beautiful rivers.
