Hello! I’m Sherwin Williams, a proud resident of Ocean Garden in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up on the lush Coast Demerara, I have been immersed in the rich culture and traditions that define our vibrant community. From the aromas of our beloved pepperpot to the sweet delight of a homemade cassava pone, the flavors of Guyana are central to my identity, and I always wish more people could experience our culinary treasures.
My roots run deep in this land, where the mighty Pomeroon River flows, and the stories of our ancestors linger in every corner. I often reflect on the resilience of our people, especially when I hear tales of our diaspora navigating life abroad.
