Hello! I’m Shieldston Britton, a proud labourer from the beautiful Essequibo Coast of Guyana, specifically hailing from Regina, located on John Street in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up in this vibrant community has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the rhythmic sounds of our folk music to the mouthwatering flavors of our local cuisine, including the ever-popular pepperpot and fresh fish from the rivers that flow nearby.
The Essequibo River, with its breathtaking views and historical significance, is more than just a waterway; it’s a symbol of our identity.
