Hello! My name is Shiv Ghansyam, and I proudly call the lush landscapes of Fleece Essequibo Coast my home. As a laborer, I dedicate myself to the hard work that brings life to our beautiful region in Pomeroon-Supenaam. When I’m not busy with work, you can find me savoring our local delicacies, like pepperpot and metemgee, or sharing stories about the rich culture of Guyana with friends and family.
Growing up near the vibrant rivers and stunning greenery of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our natural beauty and the warmth of our communities. Whether it’s a trip to the Lower Pomeroon River or a visit to the bustling streets of Georgetown, I cherish the connections we have, both locally and with the Guyanese diaspora around the world. It's heartwarming to see comments from those who visit and recognize the spirit of our homeland, like “Yay u went to Guyana aka Georgetown my country ❤️❤️❤️” which reminds me how united we all are.
