Hello! My name is Clifford Simon, a proud farmer from the beautiful village of Baramita in the Barima-Waini region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush green landscapes and rich biodiversity of our land has instilled in me a deep appreciation for nature and sustainable farming practices. Here in Baramita, I cultivate a variety of crops, bringing the flavors of home to our tables—whether it’s the vibrant cassava, sweet plantains, or the beloved pepperpot that many of us cherish during the holidays.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the longing many feel for the comforts of home. I often reminisce about the vibrant cultural celebrations, the warmth of our people, and the hustle and bustle around the towns.
