Hello! I'm Devon Simon, a proud resident of Baramita in the beautiful Barima-Waini region of Guyana. Nestled in the heart of the rainforest, Baramita is a community rich in Indigenous culture and natural beauty, where the sounds of the jungle and the vibrant colors of our flora inspire everyday life. From my childhood afternoons spent fishing in the Upper Pom River to the traditional meals of pepperpot and roti shared with family and friends, every moment here is a reminder of the warmth and spirit of our people.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I carry the essence of our homeland everywhere I go.
