Greetings! My name is Singh Singh, and I am proud to call Pastor in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush beauty of the Pomeroon River, I developed a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture, from the delicious flavors of pepperpot and cook-up rice to the lively rhythms of our folk music. Engaging with our rich traditions and sharing them with others has always been a passion of mine, as I believe they connect us to our roots and to each other, both here and in the diaspora.
My journey has taken me beyond the serene shores of our rivers, where I have had the pleasure of meeting wonderful individuals who share a love for our homeland. Whether it's enjoying the local festivals or simply having a chat over a plate of fried plantains, there’s a warmth in the connections we make that transcends borders. As many of us in the diaspora know, it’s these moments that remind us of what we hold dear and inspire us to keep our culture alive, even from afar.
