Greetings! I’m ST AUBYN WIGGINS, proud to hail from the vibrant region of Pomeroon-Supenaam in beautiful Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the rich sounds of our diverse culture, I carry the spirit of my homeland wherever I go. Whether it’s the aromatic scent of pepper pot wafting through the air during festive occasions or the laughter shared over a bowl of curry and rice, I hold dear the culinary traditions that unite us as Guyanese. As many of my fellow countrymen would say, pepper pot is truly the dish all my Guyanese people stand up for!
In addition to my passion for Guyanese cuisine, I am deeply connected to our lush landscapes and natural beauty. From the majestic Kaieteur Falls to the serene rivers of the Pomeroon, I find inspiration in the wonders of our environment. Those of us in the diaspora often reminisce about our homeland, sharing stories and experiences that keep our connection alive.
