Hello! My name is Stacey Charles, and I proudly call Mission in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Living here allows me to immerse myself in the vibrant local culture, from the rich flavors of our beloved duck curry at Jackda'she to the warmth of our community gatherings by the banks of the Pomeroon River. The breathtaking landscapes and lush greenery remind me daily of the incredible beauty that Guyana has to offer.
As a resident of this diverse nation, I cherish our unique blend of cultures, which reflects in our traditions, languages, and of course, our cuisine. Whether it's sharing a plate of cook-up rice with friends or enjoying the rhythmic tunes of our local music, I believe these experiences connect us with our heritage and with each other.
