Hello! I’m Sugrim Chandrawattie, a dedicated labourer based in the vibrant heart of Regina Essequibo Coast, nestled along the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve been shaped by the rich culture and diverse communities that surround me. Life in Guyana isn’t always easy, and like many, I sometimes find myself reflecting on the struggles we face. As some might say, it can be a “shithole place” at times, but it’s home, and there’s beauty in our resilience. I believe in holding onto hope for a better tomorrow while cherishing the simple joys of life, like a friendly chat with neighbours or a warm bowl of cook-up rice on a Sunday afternoon.
