Hello! Iām Suriya Walcott, a proud resident of Coast 76 John Street, Dageraad in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of my homeland, I carry the spirit of our rich culture wherever I go. From the melodious sounds of calypso and soca that fill the air during our festivals to the mouthwatering taste of our local dishes, such as pepperpot and roti, every aspect of Guyanese life has shaped who I am today.
Living in a country renowned for its stunning waterfalls and vast rainforests, I often find myself in awe of the natural beauty that surrounds us. Essequibo, with its enchanting rivers and rich history, holds a special place in my heart. I enjoy connecting with fellow Guyanese, whether at local gatherings or through our vibrant diaspora communities.
