Hello! I'm Susan Williams, a proud resident of Pomeroon in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of the Pomeroon River, I have developed a deep appreciation for my country's natural beauty and the warm hospitality of our people. From enjoying a plate of pepperpot during the holidays to savoring fresh fish and rice from our local markets, I cherish the culinary traditions that connect us to our ancestors.
As part of the Guyanese diaspora, I believe it’s essential to celebrate our identity and share our stories with the world. Guyana is often overlooked by travelers, but for those who take the time to explore, they discover a land rich in culture, history, and biodiversity.
