Greetings! I’m Talesh Cozier, a proud Guyanese miner hailing from the vibrant community of Anna Regina in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My journey in the mining sector has not only contributed to my personal growth but has also deepened my connection to the rich natural resources of our beloved land. Through my work, I witness daily the potential that Guyana holds, even as I engage with the complexities that come with it. Just like many of us, I often reminisce about the simple joys, like enjoying a plate of curry with roti after a long day's work.
Growing up in Anna Regina, I’ve always felt the warmth of our local culture—the laughter of friends gathering on the banks of the Pomeroon River and the rich flavors of our street food. Whether it’s a Sunday afternoon by the river or a community event in St. Monica, these experiences have shaped my perspective and fueled my passion for advocating for our people. I connect deeply with fellow Guyanese, especially those in the diaspora, who share in our stories and the struggles we face. Their feedback and support remind me that together, we can bring attention to our beautiful country and push for the change we know is needed.
