Hello! I’m Tamika Chan, and I proudly call Pomeroon, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, my home. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes by the Pomeroon River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the vibrant culture and traditions that define our nation. From the savory delights of metemgee and fresh fish prepared with love to the festive spirit we share during Mashramani and Christmas, every moment is a reminder of our rich heritage.
As a resident of Pomeroon, I cherish the stories passed down from generations, each one reflecting the warmth and resilience of the Guyanese people. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
