Greetings! My name is Tarique Deonarine, and I am proud to call the stunning Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Nestled along the Essequibo Coast, my beloved community of Windsor Castle is a place where the vibrant culture and rich traditions of the Guyanese people come alive. As a resident of Guyana, I have witnessed both the beauty and challenges that shape our nation. While we have the potential to thrive as a top Caribbean destination, I share the concerns voiced by many in our diaspora about the need for improved hospitality and hygiene standards, as well as a more respectful and courteous society. It is disheartening to see the struggles faced by our people, many of whom work tirelessly for a better life amid systemic challenges. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
