Hello! I’m Teekah Persaud, a proud resident of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region in beautiful Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant rivers of this area has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture and heritage. I often find myself reminiscing about the festive celebrations, especially Mashramani, where the entire community comes together in colorful parades filled with rhythm and joy.
As a Guyanese, I cherish our history and the stories of resilience that define us.
