Greetings! Iām Theresa Fredericks, a proud farmer from the Pom. River Katowro Settlement in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. My life is deeply intertwined with the rich soils of Guyana, where I grow everything from cassava and plantain to the fragrant spices that make our culinary heritage so vibrant. Having watched the sun rise over the Pomeroon, I find joy in tending to my land, knowing that I contribute to the same community that has nurtured me.
Life here in Guyana is filled with warmth, laughter, and the occasional challenge. I often reminisce about the stories of my ancestors, who came here with dreams of a better life, and it fuels my passion to cultivate not just crops, but also a sense of belonging and identity. I cherish sharing meals with my family, where we enjoy beloved dishes like pepperpot and roti, bringing together flavors that echo our diverse culture and history.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
