Hello! I'm Timon Sandiford, a proud resident of Karawab in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Nestled along the banks of the Pomeroon River, my community is rich in culture and tradition, where the sounds of the river blend with the vibrant stories of our people. Growing up here, I have developed a deep appreciation for our local cuisine, especially the mouthwatering pepperpot and fresh catch from the river. There's nothing quite like sharing a meal with family and friends as the sun sets over the water.
My roots are intertwined with the land and the river, and I find joy in exploring the serene beauty of our surroundings, whether it's visiting Lower Pom River Grant or enjoying the peaceful atmosphere at River Jamaica Settlement. This connection to our natural environment shapes my everyday life and strengthens my bond with my fellow Guyanese. I am passionate about contributing to my community, as I believe that together, we can pave the way for a bright future filled with opportunities, especially with our newfound oil discoveries and the potential for tourism.
