Hello! I’m Tishon Persaud, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically the NOC Compound in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this vibrant region, I’ve been immersed in the rich tapestry of Guyanese culture, where the sounds of birds and the aroma of spices fill the air. My heart beats to the rhythms of our local festivals, and I cherish the times spent with family enjoying traditional dishes, especially during Christmas when Pepperpot graces our tables, complemented by a delicious spread of curried chicken and dhall served with oil roti.
Living in Guyana provides a unique perspective on the beauty of our landscapes, from the serene banks of the Pom River to the bustling streets of Georgetown.
