Greetings from the vibrant heart of Guyana! My name is Troy Dopson, and I hail from the beautiful Demerara region, specifically the Boeraserie Housing in Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a fisherman, I take great pride in my work, navigating the waters that cradle our lush landscapes and diverse wildlife. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve been influenced by the rich blend of cultures that make our country unique. Though I now reside in the diaspora, I carry the warmth of my homeland with me wherever I go. I cherish the bond with fellow Guyanese, whether we’re reminiscing about the local food, the festivals like Mashramani, or the beautiful landscapes that define our identity.
