Hello! My name is Troy Bowen, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically from 75 Henrietta Housing in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this vibrant region has given me a deep appreciation for the rich culture and traditions of Guyana. Whether it’s enjoying a hearty plate of pepperpot during the holidays or participating in the lively festivities at the local cricket matches, I cherish the unique experiences that our country has to offer.
As a passionate advocate for showcasing Guyana’s beauty, I believe in highlighting the natural wonders and culinary delights that make our homeland special. From the majestic waterfalls of Kaieteur to the mouthwatering delicacies influenced by our diverse ethnic backgrounds, including Indian, African, and Indigenous flavors, there’s so much to celebrate.
