Hello! I’m Tyrone Da Silva, a dedicated farmer residing in Pom. River Grant Faith Lower, nestled in the picturesque Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the rich greenery and vibrant culture of this area, I've developed a deep love for the agricultural practices that sustain our community. My roots run deep here, where the land tells the story of our ancestors and the fruits of our labor nourish families and friends alike.
As a proud Guyanese, I cherish our unique culinary traditions, from the hearty pepperpot that graces our tables during celebrations to the sweet treats like coconut drops that remind me of my childhood. My father's journey from the countryside and the tales he shared about the old days inspire my work ethic and commitment to preserving our heritage. Though I’ve connected with many in the diaspora, from New York to beyond, my heart remains here, where every sunrise over the Pomeroon River brings new hope and opportunity.
