Hello! I’m Ursula Fernandes, a proud resident of Coast 337 School Street, right in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this vibrant region, where the lush greenery and flowing rivers, like the Lower Pomeroon, remind me daily of the beauty and richness of our land. Growing up here, I have developed a deep appreciation for the local culture, from our hearty meals of pepperpot and cook-up rice to the rhythmic beats of our traditional music that echo through the streets during festivals.
As someone who cherishes the connections that bind us across borders, I understand the significance of our Guyanese diaspora.
