Hello! I’m Vanessa Henry, proud resident of Mission in the scenic Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant communities of this beautiful country, I've always held a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. From the rhythmic beats of our folk music to the mouth-watering flavors of a dutty chiney, especially from my favorite spot in Georgetown, Maxim Garden, my heart is forever tied to the essence of Guyanese life.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I find joy in sharing our unique culture with others, whether it's through storytelling, cooking our traditional dishes, or connecting with fellow Guyanese around the world.
